Robards leads RS12 at Coles County

On Saturday, the RS12 Motorsports contingent made its weekly stop at Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, Illinois. Harrison Robards and Zander LaRose each competed at the 1/8-mile oval.

In the A-Class Wing ranks, Robards turned in a third-place finish in his heat race and started sixth in the 20-lap feature. He picked up one spot in the A-Main and came home fifth behind Blayne Mabry, Noah Mehl, JJ Williams and Bodee Everett.

Meanwhile, LaRose entered the Junior Sprints class at Coles County. He grabbed fourth in his heat, then started seventh in the 15-lap A-Main. He pulled in early with the car losing power and recorded a ninth-place finish.
