Z Man takes another Doe Run checkered flag
RS12 Motorsports driver Zander LaRose continued his winning ways at Doe Run (Missouri) Raceway on Friday evening while claiming two podium finishes.
In the LO206 Restricted Box Stock class, LaRose turned in a fifth-to-first run in his heat race, putting his Spartan Transportation No. 1Z winged kart on the pole for the 10-lap feature. He showed the way throughout the A-Main on the 1/6-mile oval and scored his 18th feature victory of the year. He took the win 2.117 seconds ahead of Karter Bates, with Dawson Miner, Maverick Beard and Alianna Evans completing the top five.
LaRose raced his Junior Sprint for the first time at Doe Run on Friday as well. After finishing third in his heat, he both started and finished third in the feature. He rounded out the podium behind Easton Hayes and Kruize Parson.
